Money Leak (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Money Leak app handles your information.

1. Summary

Money Leak is designed to keep your financial tracking data on your device. We do not operate a backend service for storing your expense data, leak insights, or monthly reports.

2. Information the app stores

Money Leak stores the following information locally on your device:

• Expense entries you create

• Categories you use

• Recurring expense flags

• Leak insights and leak decisions

• Monthly report data generated from your entries

• App preferences, such as reminders and display settings

• Subscription access state used to unlock Pro or Premium features

3. Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase Pro or Premium, subscription processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment information, such as your credit card number.

We may access limited subscription status information from Apple, such as whether you have an active subscription, in order to unlock paid features.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Money Leak requests notification permission from Apple. If permission is granted, the app schedules notifications on your device for features such as weekly reminders and monthly report reminders.

5. Premium AI analysis

On supported devices, Premium features may use Apple’s on-device Foundation Models / Apple Intelligence capabilities to generate spending analysis and suggestions.

Based on the current app implementation:

• analysis is generated on device

• we do not send your expense data to our servers for AI processing

• Apple Intelligence availability depends on device, language, and Apple settings

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your expense data, leak insights, or reports with third parties for advertising or marketing.

7. Data collection for tracking

Money Leak does not use your data for cross-app tracking.

Money Leak does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

8. Data retention

Your data remains on your device unless you delete it, remove the app, or clear app data through device-level actions.

Sample data, if enabled, is also stored locally and can be removed from within the app.

9. Your choices

You can:

• edit or delete expense data in the app

• change reminder settings in the app

• disable notifications in iOS Settings

• manage subscriptions through your Apple ID / App Store settings

• remove the app from your device to delete local app data, subject to iOS backup behavior

10. Children’s privacy

Money Leak is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote service.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
