This app is designed to store and organize your recipes on your device. We do not require account creation, and we do not knowingly collect personal information for our own use.

Information the app may store:

• Recipes you create

• Ingredients, instructions, prep times, favorites, and photos you add

• App preferences such as display and ribbon settings

• Optional imported recipe files you choose to open

How your data is used:

• Your recipe data is used only to provide app features such as saving, editing, displaying, importing, exporting, and favoriting recipes.

• Photos are only used when you choose to attach them to a recipe.

• Imported and exported files are only accessed when you explicitly choose those actions.

Data sharing:

• We do not sell your personal data.

• We do not share your recipe data with third parties.

• We do not use your data for advertising.

Data storage:

• Your data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export it or your device backups sync it through Apple services you use, such as iCloud device backups.

Permissions:

• Photo Library Access: used only so you can choose recipe images.

• Camera Access: used only so you can take a recipe photo from inside the app.

Children’s privacy:

• Cook​Book does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices:

• You can edit or delete recipes at any time.

• You can remove recipe photos at any time.

• You can export your data when you choose.

• You can delete the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.

Changes to this policy:

• This privacy policy may be updated in future versions of the app. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
